Nigeria’s most notorious drug for erectile dysfunction, Cialis, is currently being used to treat impotence, in addition to men’s health issues such as enlarged prostate.
The drug is not just the fastest-selling erectile dysfunction drug in the world, but it is also the most commonly prescribed and popular prescription medication in Nigeria. The drugs are commonly used for treating various medical conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and erectile dysfunction. Despite the rise of anti-impotence medications, many Nigerians are now turning to Cialis as a potential solution to address their sexual health issues.
“Nigeria is a poor place to live with sexual health issues and we cannot afford the medical bills,” Dr Nadeem Nweke, Chief Medical Officer of Adua University School of Medicine, said in a news release. “Cialis is a drug that belongs to the class of medicines called phosphodiesterase inhibitors (PDE5). This drug works by helping blood vessels relax and dilate, allowing more blood to flow into the penis. It is not only used in treating erectile dysfunction in men but also in increasing the size of the prostate gland. It is also used for the treatment of BPH in adult men.”
As for the sale of Cialis, it is now available in the pharmacies as well, with the price being about 50 percent less than the price of the drug. The drug can only be obtained from a registered drugstore.
According to the Nigeria’s Health Ministry, the drug has a daily limit of 20mg, for a price of N$100. The average cost for a month’s supply of the drug is N$3, while the cost of the same month’s supply is N$4, while the cost of the same month’s supply is N$10.
“Our pharmacy is a leading source of Cialis and its availability is expected to be an issue for us and the Nigerians,” Dr Nweke said.
He told BBC News, “This is not a one-off case. We will continue to stock it as it has been around for over ten years.”
The sale of Cialis was once considered to be illegal, but Nigeria is now seeing an influx of drug sales and the number of new customers has increased, especially among the older generation. According to the Nigeria Pharmaceutical Association, which is responsible for the sale of Cialis, the market for the drug is valued at N$100,000.
“As we are a country of high need, we have to be realistic,” Dr Nweke said. “In our country, we have a problem of people not getting a proper diagnosis, and we have to make sure that our patients get proper care.”
Another leading manufacturer of Cialis is Eli Lilly, which markets the drug for erectile dysfunction, but it has yet to win approval from the Federal Drug Administration, which is expected to issue its approval in the next few weeks.
“We are very pleased to get approval from the Federal Drug Administration to market Cialis as a potential treatment for erectile dysfunction in Nigeria,” Dr Nweke said. “We are currently evaluating the market and believe the drug will be a part of our portfolio.”
In addition to Cialis, the manufacturer also sells other drugs for erectile dysfunction, including a treatment for pulmonary arterial hypertension. As it stands, the product is not currently under review from the Federal Drug Administration and is therefore not expected to be on the market soon.

Olanzia is the first erectile dysfunction drug to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a treatment for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia. However, the drug is also used for other medical conditions such as pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and benign prostatic hyperplasia.Erectile dysfunction affects millions of men worldwide, including Nigerians.
The UK’s most famous erectile dysfunction drug: Viagraby Pfizer
The drug has long been known for its potential to lead to a surge in erectile dysfunction (ED) cases, particularly among those who have recently undergone radical prostatectomy or surgery. While Viagra was originally developed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), the drug has become a household name for men who are concerned about their chances of developing this condition. The drug's patent for the treatment of ED also expires in 2015, giving the drug a long way to go for its potential to aid in the treatment of other conditions such as osteoarthritis.
However, there is growing concern that the drug may be linked to the rise in ED cases, particularly among young people, particularly among those who may be at increased risk of the disease.
Pfizer, the maker of Viagra, will soon begin testing the drug in a more sensitive form to assess the risks, known as a generic drug. It will be available in the UK in two strengths, 2.5mg and 5mg tablets, and will be available in tablet form in select countries throughout the EU and the EU member states.
It is also the first pill to be made available in this way for the treatment of men with low blood pressure. However, the drug's manufacturer, Pfizer, has said that it will continue testing the drug to determine its suitability for the treatment of men with ED.
The Viagra patent expired in 2017, giving the drug the ability to be made available in the UK in tablet form. However, it has been delayed due to the fact that Pfizer's patent on the drug expired in 2014, allowing the drug to become available to customers in the UK after the expiration of Pfizer's Viagra patent. As a result, Viagra sales have been declining, with many men opting to buy the drug.
However, a study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine found that the number of men who have suffered ED from Viagra had fallen from 14 in 2011 to just 7.9 in 2013, compared with a year earlier. The Viagra pill, known by its generic name sildenafil, has been in use for at least a decade.
However, the number of men who have suffered from ED is likely to have remained relatively stable, especially for the last two decades. The study found that while Viagra accounted for the majority of men's erectile dysfunction cases, Viagra’s impact on ED cases was not as great as anticipated.
In a report published in the journal, a study published in the journal's medical journal, Dr. Lisa Bonhoeve, a professor at Harvard University and a co-author of the study, said that while Viagra could be a safe drug for men who have suffered a significant form of ED, it is not a reliable option for women or those with pre-existing conditions.
"It is not a drug to take to improve erections in men. Viagra and other medications can have adverse effects, and some men may not take their pills, or they may take them for several weeks, which is a very low number of doses," she said.
Bonhoeve said that while Viagra is not a magic pill, it is one of the more effective medications for treating ED. The study, which was presented at the American Urological Association conference, found that Viagra, being an effective treatment for ED, was more effective than other ED medications like Cialis and Levitra.
However, Dr. Bonhoeve said that while Viagra is the most popular medicine for treating erectile dysfunction, it may be a more effective option for many men who have not suffered a significant number of ED cases.
In addition to Viagra, the study also found that Viagra had a longer duration of action than other ED medications, possibly due to the longer duration of action of sildenafil, which is a drug used for the treatment of ED. This is an advantage for men who have suffered a significant number of ED cases.
Other findings from the study showed that the drugs, which work on a similar dose range as Viagra, had a longer duration of action compared with Viagra. The study found that those who had taken Viagra for a longer time had a greater proportion of ED cases.
